Wait, There’s Another Edge 60? Meet the Motorola Edge 60 Stylus
With all the recent buzz around the Motorola Edge 60 and Edge 60 Pro leaks—and the official debut of the Edge 60 Fusion—you’d be forgiven for forgetting that Motorola has a fourth device in the works from the same family. But about a month ago, it quietly came to light that the Motorola Edge 60 Stylus is also on the horizon.
What sets this model apart? Well, unlike its siblings, the Edge 60 Stylus doesn’t really have a clear predecessor, which might actually make it even more appealing—especially for budget-conscious Android shoppers. As its name implies, the phone will include a built-in stylus, putting it in the same conversation (at least in concept) as Samsung’s stylus-toting Galaxy S25 Ultra. That said, let’s be clear—this isn’t a flagship, not even close.
Familiar Specs, But a Unique Twist
Here’s what recent leaks (courtesy of tipsters Abhishek Yadav and Vivek Goel) claim the Motorola Edge 60 Stylus is bringing to the table:
- 6.7-inch P-OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate
- Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor
- Android 15 out of the box
- Dual rear cameras: 50MP main + 13MP ultra-wide
- 32MP front camera
- 5,000 mAh battery
- 68W wired charging
- 15W wireless charging
- 8GB RAM / 256GB storage
- Stylus included
- Color options: Gibraltar Sea and Surf the Web
A lot of these specs line up closely with the Edge 60 Fusion, especially the display, cameras, storage, memory, and fast charging. However, the Edge 60 Stylus swaps out the MediaTek chip for Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 2, adds wireless charging, and slightly reduces battery capacity. It even shares the same chipset as the Motorola Edge (2024), which further fuels speculation that it might be coming to the US.
Could It Launch in the US?
While nothing is confirmed, the spec similarities between the Edge 60 Stylus and the Edge (2024)—especially the chipset—suggest that Motorola might be planning a US release. If that happens, expect the device to possibly launch under a simpler name like “Motorola Edge Stylus” to avoid confusion with the G series.
But what would that mean for the Moto G Stylus (2025)? If the Edge 60 Stylus does make it to US shores, Motorola may have to rethink whether there’s still room for another stylus phone in its lineup. It’s all speculation for now, but it’s a sign that Motorola’s 2025 strategy could be shifting.
Mark Your Calendars: April 17
Motorola is reportedly gearing up to officially announce the Edge 60 Stylus in India on April 17. While this is likely just an unveiling (and perhaps the start of pre-orders), it’s the first solid date linked to the device.
No pricing details have surfaced yet, but considering the Edge 60 Fusion is priced at roughly $270 in India, we can expect the Stylus variant to land somewhere slightly above that. For a phone with stylus support, wireless charging, and solid mid-range specs, that would be a compelling deal.
In the US, pricing is harder to predict. The Edge (2024) normally retails for around $550, so even a $400–$450 price point for the Edge 60 Stylus would still position it as a far more affordable alternative to something like the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
So… What Is This Phone, Really?
Adding to the mystery is a leaked image from last month showing a flatter, less flashy design than the Edge 60 Pro or Fusion. This raises a question—is the Edge 60 Stylus just a renamed Moto G Stylus (2025)? That would make a lot of sense, but for now, we’re still in rumor territory.
One thing’s for sure: Motorola is cooking up something a little different here. And whether it lands in the mid-range space or slides into the budget-friendly stylus niche, the Edge 60 Stylus could be one of the brand’s most interesting releases of the year.
