Good news for Windows laptop users!
Apple Music just got a big upgrade for people using Windows laptops like Galaxy Books and other models. Now, you can finally enjoy Dolby Atmos audio on your device something that Apple users have had for a long time.
Apple Music is one of the top music streaming apps in the world. One feature that makes it special is Dolby Atmos, which gives you a 3D sound experience. It feels like the music is all around you, not just coming from your left or right ear.
Before now, Apple Music with Dolby Atmos only worked on iPhones, iPads, Macs, and Apple TV. But now, Windows users can also enjoy it, thanks to the latest update (version 1.1284.20225) of the Apple Music app.
To get the best sound, your Windows laptop should have Dolby Atmos-supported speakers. But even if it doesn’t, the sound will still improve on good headphones or external speakers that support spatial audio.
Apple also released a support guide to help Windows PC users set up Dolby Atmos on Apple Music.
You can download or update Apple Music for Windows from the Microsoft Store. Just make sure you’re using the latest version.
Not all systems support Dolby Atmos yet. For example, Samsung TVs and monitors with Tizen OS don’t have it. Also, Spotify the biggest competitor to Apple Music still hasn’t added Dolby Atmos support at all.
If you use a Windows laptop and love music, this is a great time to give Apple Music another try. With Dolby Atmos support, your music will sound clearer, deeper, and more exciting than ever.
